This Wolf Panel is deeply hand-carved in yellow cedar by Kwakiutl artist Trevor Hunt. It has been painted in black, turquoise, red, and sage green acrylic paint and features 18 inlays of mother-of-pearl, one inlay of abalone shell, and one onlay of copper.

The Wolf Symbol represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding, and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter.

The panel is about 22 3/4 inches or 58 centimeters in diameter and about 1 1/2 inches or about 4 centimeters thick.
